It looks like a funky nut cracker. I've never had a garlic press so I couldn't wait to try it out. I'm a perfectionist, when I mince garlic it takes about 5 minutes or more. It must be perfect, this had the garlic minced smaller than I ever could in about 10 seconds. You don't even need to peel the garlic.

It did a perfect job! It's beyond simple just to pop the clove of garlic in place and crush it. I'm the world's weakest person and I have the muscle to crush it. The press is a bit hard to clean, it took a lot of soap and scrubbing to get all the garlic remains off. I'm not sure if it can go in the dishwasher, I didn't pay attention on the box, but I'd rather not. I recommend this product, and I don't think I'll ever hand mince garlic again! I received this product free in exchange for an honest review from Tomoson.
