Calm

My grandparents left yesterday after over a month of travelling between me going to TX and them coming here. It's calm, and quiet. Too quiet I'm not used to it anymore. Now its just Tanner, Shayla, and I for the rest of summer. Time to clean house, or at least try I have a very distraught two year old on my hands. He's not handling everyone leaving very well. I know he's just as ready as I am to have daddy home. I wish we knew more. Whoever tells you military lifestyle is easy is full of shit this is hell. Welp, off to clean and try to distract Tan man.

Jamba Juice at Home Smoothie Kit

I received the Jamba Juice at Home Smoothie Kit free from influenster in my surf's up voxbox. The product can be found in the freezer section and looks like this:

the flavor I chose was Caribean Passion, it has mango, strawberry, peach, and non-fat yogurt in it. All you do is add apple juice. I didn't have apple juice so I used my sons mango peach V8 Fusion juice. You open the bag empty it in a blender and add 8oz of juice. Maybe my blender sucks but when I tried to blend it it just didn't want to work. The package recommends 20 seconds of pulsing then 60 seconds on the smoothie/puree setting. When I did this it took more like 5 minutes to get it completely blended, and even then I had chewable chunks in my smoothie and what I felt was too much liquid. It looked like this:

To me the consistency was not really smoothie like and it tasted way too sugary. It wasn't terrible but I don't think it's a product I plan on purchasing in the future.

Surf's up VoxBox

I recently signed up for a website called influenster.com. Basically you link all your social accounts with their account and it earns you points to which they may or may not offer you a survey to take to see if you qualify for a box if you do you receive your box within a week and they ask you to complete tasks to review the products. Here's their about  "Influenster is a community of trendsetters, social media masterminds, and educated consumers who live to give opinions of products and experiences.
Influensters meet here to learn about new products from our favorite brands as well as review the products they already use in their day-to-day lives.

Influenster invites its most active members to participate in exclusive VoxBox programs where members receive complimentary products to test and review. In exchange, we ask our members to do what they already love to do: share their opinions with their friends & followers on social media.

But that's not all. We have a lot going on including digital challenges, twitter parties, & contests - take a look around!" It's fun and easy and who doesn't love free product!?

The products I received in my surf's up voxbox are:
  • Jamba Juice Smoothie Kit
  • Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration After Sun lotion
  • First Aid Shot Therapy
  • SinfulColors Proffessional Nail Polish
  • COVERGIRL Bombshell Curvaveous by LashBlast Mascara
The smoothie kit came in the form of a coupon that you can redeem at your local grocer for a FREE smoothie kit to try out. I haven't yet redeemed my coupon but when I do I'll post about this product!

The Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration After Sun Lotion is a product that I have purchased for myself before I absolutely love the summery scent and its exactly the thing I want to be rubbing on my skin after a day at the beach. It goes on thick and creamy and though I haven't tried it with a sunburn to know if it provides relief I feel as if it amplifies my tan and makes it look darker. I LOVE this product

The First Aid shot therapy I didn't get a chance to try myself as I'm pregnant and can't take aspirin but I had my grandfather try it for shoulder pain. It is a 1.35 oz vial of liquid pain relief with a berry flavor. He stated that after an hour the pain was dulled but still there.

The SinfulColors nail polish I received was in the color ocean side. It's a blue color. Not something I would have chosen for myself. It goes on thick and if you're feeling daring you only need one coat. The only downside in my eyes is if you're like me and have to chase little ones it just doesn't dry fast enough. So paint your nails after the kids are in bed ;) but the sinful brand is very affordable and a quality product.

The Bombshell mascara is the bomb! It has a double wand. The first step is a curved wand for volume, thickening, and curl. The second step is dark and intensifying. It is very waterproof and you need a strong makeup remover to get it off. It goes on nice and thick. I only needed one coat of each step for my lashes to look more defined, but personally I recommend two of each to get the full BOMBSHELL effect.

"I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes."
