Snuggle

I received Snuggle drier sheets as part of a mission to create a craft. Tanner and I chose to make snowflakes since it's pretty easy for a 2 year old to help with. He loved being able to help cut up the sheets, and now he smells like fresh laundry! The laundry aspect of things though this product is great! It leaves my entire house smelling like snuggle and the scent in the laundry lasts so long! We love it.

Bambooee

Bambooee is a reusable bamboo paper towel. 1 sheet can be washed 100 times to be reused. bambooee towels
I love the concept of this product, it's a great idea and very eco friendly. That being said this product is not for me. It is super absorbant and cleans great but it stains very easily which makes it look gross after washing and I don't want to reuse a paper towel that has left over spaghetti stains. On the other hand they are great for cleaning since I don't care if those towels or rags are stained but I already have clothes that are used for cleaning. I don't think I would buy this product for myself.

Acure Organics

Wooh! New baby is finally here and hubby got me a new laptop so it's time to hop back onto the review horse! Awhile back I received a few products from Acure organics. Unfortunately with the end of my pregnancy and preparing for a new addition all my reviews got pushed aside. I received their Balancing Facial Toner and Argan oil, along with our Moroccan Argan oil + Argan Stem Cell shampoo and conditioner.

"The Balancing toner is alcohol-free, so it will not strip the skin. Instead it is vegetable glycerin based, which is a natural humectant that draws moisture from the air into the skin. It also contains organic witch hazel, which is quite different from the typical witch hazel because it is not alcohol derived, making it much gentler at balancing bacteria and quite soothing to the skin. A toner is so important because it hydrates the skin, soothes inflammation and balances bacteria growth but ultimately, accelerates product penetration. It's the easiest way to up the ante in your regimen."
To me this toner smells and feels like everyday witch hazel but, I love it. I've adopted it into my skin care regimen and I use it every night after washing my face. It is so refreshing and has immensely cut down on my breakouts. Especially with how crazy my skin is right now with post baby hormones.

"Argan oil is such an asset to reduce the congestion in your skin. I know it sounds counter-intuitive but it’s true. Consider the fact that water can’t cut oil, but oil can cut oil. Argan is dreamy because it is over 80% polyunsaturated essential fatty acid and loaded with antioxidants like vitamin E. Vitamin E pushes tons of oxygen into the pores and acne bacteria cannot live in the presence of oxygen. It is also amazing at softening congested debris like blackheads and the essential fatty acids are wonderful at stimulating healthy firming, moisture balance, anti-inflammatory and anti-swelling support. Plus, you can use it for so much more; sunburns, wound healing and scars, adding shine to hair and decreasing frizz/fly-a-ways, cuticle treatment, etc."
I tried this product in my hair, it made it entirely too oily, which I hated. Butttt it's awesome to add a few pumps to a bath! This leaves my skin feeling so moisturized and is great to soak in. I love combining this with lavender salts in a before bed bath. It's BEYOND relaxing.

"The ingredients that make the Moroccan Argan Oil and Argan Stem Cell formulation a rock star include Sunflower Lysine, Argan Stem Cells, and Sea Buckthorn. The Sunflower Lysine acts as natural cortisone and blocks the histamine response in skin so it balances, soothes and provides anti-inflammation support. The Argan Stem Cells help to strengthen hair retention boost moisture content and hair regeneration. Sea Buckthorn contains a ton of essential fatty acids and helps support buildup of the skin's lipid layers. Finally, for those concerned with thinning of the hair or hair loss, the zinc and magnesium from the Pumpkin Seed oil helps block DHT (dihydrotestosterone) build up in the follicle. DHT is the hormone often responsible for stress hair loss and male/female pattern hair loss."
I love this shampoo and conditioner! It as one of the first things I threw in my hospital bag. It has a very mild scent and feels great. I love that I can pronounce all the ingredients and recognize what most of them are.

Over all I would recommend all of these products they are a great organic alternative to the usual chemical laden beauty products.

Pouch2go

I feel like my life has been so upside down lately trying to prepare for baby number 2's arrival! I've fallen so far behind on reviews it's insane! Recently I received these reusable baby food pouches to try. I couldn't wait to whip up some applesauce for my 2 year old to enjoy and test out these pouches!
They filled easily through an opening in the bottom and close great the first time you use them. I noticed after I had washed them that it is hard to get all of the food washed out, especially up around the opening and they don't close very well. I do love that they are dishwasher safe and can be frozen but because of  the difficulty to wash them and the difficulty in closing them after cleaning I wouldn't recommend them for more than a few uses, for me it was more of a hassle than it was worth to save a few extra cents as opposed to buying prepackaged squeezable apple sauce.

Microfiber Towel Review by Hydracentials

I received microfiber kitchen towels and a microfiber hair towel from Hydracentials to review. I love both of these products the kitchen towels are so absorbent. I can use them on the biggest messes and although they are white and stain easily a little oxi clean pulls it right out. The hair towel is also extremely absorbent and dries my hair almost completely. My hair is mid back length so the towel isn't long enough to completely wrap my hair up but it works.

Hydracentials 16 oz Stainless Steel Water Bottle

I recently got to try out the bigger version of this bottle, and I loved it, so of course I jumped on the chance to try the smaller one. I decided this one would be my son's since he loves mine so much. This works perfect for him, it's thinner than the original so it's great for his little hands to hold. This bottle is great and it keeps liquids cool all day! We love them so much I'm planning on purchasing my husband one in the near future!
The coozie and straw cleaner are both extra and available for purchase seperate from the bottles themselves.

Eco at Heart Stainless Steel Straws

As Americans we use a lot of plastic disposable straws. Have you ever really thought about how fast those add up in landfills? With more than 500 million straws used A DAY in the U.S. that number is sure to add up fast! These plastic straws are not biodegradable, they just break down into little toxic pieces. So when I saw the opportunity to try the stainless steel straws by Eco at Heart http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K7VGAMO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I jumped on it! They come in handy around the house and even come with a little brush to clean them with. The straws are washable and they get cold with whatever you are drinking. Because of this I wouldn't recommend using them with hot liquids as I'm sure they heat up as well.  I don't like that they aren't flexible and you can jab yourself with them and hurt yourself. Therefore they aren't the best product for children. This kinda sucks since my son is the number 1 straw user in our house.

Victoria's Secret VoxBox

So I am soooo far behind on blogging lately. I feel like I fell off the face of the Earth. My husband recently returned home from a long deployment, barely a couple days later we were on our way to Texas to visit family. Upon returning to Georgia at 6 a.m. we began moving into a new house which we had only a few days to complete the move and nothing packed. So essentially my home and like is in chaos right now. Half the products I'm supposed to be reviewing I can't even remember where I packed so as I slowly unearth items I'll get back in a grove. I plan on starting a full time job soon as well and we have another little one due in December so life is about to get more hectic! I hope I can keep up!
Onto the review! I recently received the Victoria's Secret VoxBox https://www.victoriassecret.com.
It included an Incredible sports bra, a pair of crop pants, and coupons to share with my friends. I love the thought included with sending the coupons, but they expired withing a week and a half of when I received my box which was slightly saddening as I didn't get to share them with many people. The bra is awesome! It's my new favorite sports bra. It offers amazing support! Like seriously, my boobs have never looked so absolutely awesome in a sports bra. I feel sexy. Anyone know how hard it is to feel sexy in ANYTHING at 8 months pregnant? The straps are padded so the bra doesn't make your shoulders hurt and the closure is adjustable just like a conventional bra. I don't like the price tag though! The Incredible sport bra retails at $54.50 according to the website. I also don't like that it is a racerback style that also includes a back closure. I end up doing an awkward little dance to get the bra over my head and then have to reach behind me and hook it, this is slightly inconvenient and I would much prefer a front or even possibly zip closure.

The crop pants that they sent are so comfy! Like better than yoga pants comfy! The feature and adjustable drawstring waist, but unless you are a toothpick they are so form fitting the drawstring is more for looks and a pop of color... The size medium (I'm generally a small) was very tight on me. They are awesome lazy pants which the complete opposite of their intended purpose but hey 8 months pregnant haha! My only complaints are that unless you already have a tone flat awesome tummy they show off an awesome muffin top:/ Not my favorite feature, but this can easily be hidden with a not so form fitting tank. Also, again the price, it's slightly ridiculous at $62.50. Overall I would definitely recommend these products if you have it in your budget. Best workout set I've owned!

I received this product complimentary from influenster for testing purposes. The opinions expressed are honest and my own.

Molly's Suds

With a new baby on the way we, well I've made the decision to cloth diaper. With this decision I went on the quest to find the best cloth diaper detergent I can. So I contacted Molly's Suds http://www.mollyssuds.com/ asking for a sample to test out. This is what I received:
Two cloth diaper detergent packets and an instruction card.

One packet of all natural laundry powder.

Two discount codes to purchase other products from them.
Since new baby hasn't made her appearance yet I tested the cloth diaper detergent on some underwear that my recently potty trained two year old soiled. It cleaned efficiently with no odor or stains left behind. The laundry powder is amazing! You can mix it into a paste to use as a stain remover which is super effective, or just add a couple tablespoons into your normal laundry. I was a bit skeptical at first because when I added it to the water in the washer it didn't bubble like most powdered detergents. I added a small load of laundry just as a trial run and it was extremely effective on our clothes. The only qualm I have is when used on my hand wash only clothes (which I wash on delicate and hang to dry) they felt slightly crispy when hung out and dried. So if you hang dry I would recommend a fabric softener with the laundry powder. Overall I highly recommend this detergent for cloth diapers and all your laundry needs!

PERFECT PORTIONS KITCHEN SCALE

I received this food scale to review from Perfect PortionsPerfect Portions Digital Scale + Nutrition Facts Display, Silver This scale is a great piece of equipment and so easy to use. It has a nice glass top with a silver finish underneath.
And to the right is where it shows you the weight and if applicable the nutrition facts of your food.
This scale is super easy to zero as you just put you container on it and press the zero button. It comes with a book that contains 2,000 codes for common foods, including pizza that you enter while the food is on the scale to get the nutrition facts for the piece of food that you are weighing. You can even add custom food codes for your favorite foods that aren't in the book.
I found it very convenient that you could weigh and track the nutrition facts for an entire meal by saving and zeroing the scale every time you add an item to the plate then totaling it, this feature makes it super easy to track your intake if you are on a strict diet.
This is even great for baking! Being digital it is super precise to measure out ingredients based on weight.
 I recommend this scale!

Adovia Facial Moisturizer And Sulfur Soap For Acne

I was given the chance to try out a facial moisturizer and a sulfur soap bar for acne both by Adovia. I chose to review these two products together because they compliment one another so well. If you decide to try one I recommend to get the other with it.
I'll start with the sulfur soap bar.
This bar is huge! I expected a small bar of soap since it is meant for your face, but this bar is larger than the one I have in my shower. The soap is enriched with minerals and sulfur from the dead sea. The sulfur has antiseptic, anti-fungal, and antibacterial properties. I can't say enough good things about this soap. I'm pregnant and my skin has broken out like crazy, within two days of using this I noticed that my skin was visibly clearer and looked brighter. So I decided to pair the soap with the moisturizer that I had received from the same company and hadn't used yet.
This moisturizer is a very thick day cream that smells like grandmas perfume. I'm not kidding that's the only thing I know to compare it to sorry guys. It's not greasy at all and very little goes a long way! This also contains dead sea minerals as well and natural oils and aloe for hydration. This product left my skin glowing from the first use. I plan on buying both of these when I run out I love them so much.
The best part is they are both hypo-allergenic and cruelty free! I HIGHLY recommend both these products. They can be viewed or purchased here:

Trim Fuel Protein Shake

I was chosen the try out the Trim Fuel Protein shakes. I received the flavors chocolate, vanilla, mocha latte, and apple cinnamon. I'm not a fan of straight protein shakes but I love protein powder in smoothies! I couldn't wait to try these. First I tried the chocolate
I added 2 tablespoon scoops to the mix and blended it up the chocolate flavor was prominent in the smoothie which I enjoyed.

I'm not the only one who loved it! I tried the vanilla the same way and the two scoops was a bit over powering so for the mocha latte and apple cinnamon I only used one and it was perfect it added just enough to the smoothie without over powering the fruit in it. This powder blends really well and is pretty filling. I would recommend this shake.

Whip Lash

I'm always looking for a functional eyelash curler. Most that I have tried either pinch, don't grip well enough to curl, or they have those annoying rubber inserts in the fingers that constantly pop out. On top of everything else I can never seen to get them to fit in my small makeup bag. Whiplash is different.
There is no pinching or awkward gripping the handles are perfect and they connect together for easy storage. These are the most convenient eyelash curlers ever and it only takes my one crimp for perfectly curled lashed as opposed to 3 or 4 with others and still coming short of perfect. And this curler has a LIFETIME GUARANTEE!

Exfolimate

I was given the opportunity to try out exfolimate. This product is meant to be used on your face and body in the shower or after soaking your skin as and exfoliator. I personally do not recommend this product. For me it was painful to use and did not show me any evidence of exfoliating. I didn't feel any better after use and my skin did not look brighter. I would not buy this product. If you think this product may be for you it can be viewed here: Exfolimate Kit Reduces Visible Signs Of Aging - Clear Skin Naturally

PureSOL Konjac Facial Sponge

I was recently given the opportunity to test out this Bamboo Charcoal Konjac sponge. This is the second sponge of this time I've had the privilege of receiving. I love these charcoal sponges they are light exfoliators and leave my skin feeling unbelievably refreshed and soft. I like this sponge a lot. I like that it is small and compact. As you can see below it also comes with a small suction cup so you can attach it inside your shower to to your mirror when not in use.
I love that they thought of that little detail as with the last sponge I received from a different company I really had no where to hang it to dry out of the humidity of my shower. This one is smaller than my other one so it probably won't last as long. The company recommends to replace the sponge every 2-3 months so you do get a lot of use out of it. This sponge helps to even skin texture, prevent break outs, and is 100% eco friendly. The PureSOL sponge can be found at Konjac Sponge - Activated Charcoal - Facial Sponge, 100% Natural Sponge, Eco-Friendly - Gentle Exfoliating Sponge, Deep Cleansing, Improved Skin Texture - Konjac Facial Cleansing Sponge - Natural Beauty Products -Free of Chemicals, Parabens, Sulphates, Fragrances & Coloring. Good for Sensitive Skin, Hypoallergenic - Cruelty Free, Vegan, Biodegradable, Naturally Sustainable - 100% Money Back Guarantee  I highly recommend these sponges!

Hydracentials Sporty 25 oz Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle

I was chosen to test out this sports bottle from Hydracentials. This bottle is 25 oz. and stainless steel so it keeps drinks icy for hours! It is different from any sports bottle I've ever used before as this has a straw connected to the spout so you don't have to tip the whole bottle, something I knew but didn't think of when I went to try the bottle out, so tipping it I go...

Then this tiny person decided to pick it up for a drink. This was his expression when I told him he had to tip the bottle... So to work this bottle you have to be smarter than a 2 year old, which apparently I'm not. I love the fact that you don't have to tip it to me that's more work than it's worth especially after working out! It's so easy to clean, and the straw pops out which is very convenient.
I love this bottle and I would recommend it to anyone active looking for a great water bottle for the gym.
